Hello and Welcome
Welcome to Queens Library Learning 2.0 program. This program will launch September 24. Stay tuned to this blog for more details. Also, please stop by the Queens Library Learning 2.0 table at the staff breakfast.
I've been working with Queens Library for nearly 18 years at Central Library. When I first came here I knew nothing about computers. Everything I learned, I learned here at Queens Library. For that I am grateful.
I've been working for Queens library going on 15 years. I try to take advanage of anything that is free. I give gratitude to the Queens Library for giving me the opportunity to receive my computer experience.
I've been interested in Library 2.0 since I first heard about it and am really excited about learning about new technologies and social networking. The "prize" is just a perk.
The Queens Library Learning 2.0 program is based on the PLCMC Learning 2.0 program created by Helene Blowers, Public Services Technology Director for the Public Library of Charlotte-Mecklenburg County (PLCMC).

I've been working with Queens Library as an Office Aide III aka Customer Service Representative for 9 1/2 years now!
Goals are the fuel in the furnace of achievement.

Looks pretty cool.
It's so neat (and inspiring) to see how long everyone's been working at the library.
