If you've made it this far, you already have three items or "things" completed of the 23 1/2 that are required to earn the gift card (not to mention qualify for the laptop drawing).
But how do you qualify? Good question! By registering your blog and recording your progress on each of the 23 1/2 Things. For the sake of simplifying this process for Queens Library staff involved, you will need to send an e-mail to ql.things@gmail.com with your name, employee number, and a link to your blog.
Each blog post should reflect your thoughts and experiences on each thing. Aim to write 100-150 words for each post.

Most things are clickable. Remember, each "thing" will only be activated when we get to that week.
If something isn't hyperlinked ... you can always highlight and copy and paste.
How often do you update the participant list? I just register my blog by sending e-mail to ql.things and I am waiting to see my name show up in the list now.
The list is updated at least once a day, usually whenever we can find a spare moment. If it's a weekday and you haven't seen your link posted, simply resend the e-mail.

If you want to do the Things now, you can register officially once you start QL in mid-December. You just have to finish by December 24.
That said, this program will probably repeat or experience another cycle.
Is there a list somplace where we can see how many items we've done? I'm still a little confused.
We need a checklist.

It helps if you put the Thing # in your post. Things 3, and 5-23.5 require a blog post. You'll know you're done when you have a minimum of 20 posts.
I'm probably the last one starting out...but we all learn on our own time, right?
